Why TALUS?

TALUS comes from Latin and refers to the ankle bone. The word is also connected to the ancient practice of using animal ankle bones, known as astragali, for games of chance and play.

We chose the name as a small reference to the long history of dice and tabletop games, going back to a time when games were played with bones rather than modern dice.
